Everyday starts anew, everyday you face a new battle

As you wake up every morning, it marks the beginning of a battle,  fighting against the challenges that is going to happen in the day. This is happening to all living things in the world. If talking about animals, they are fighting a battle against the environment, predators and even humans to find food to fill their stomach and shelters to keep them out from unpredictable weather.

On the other hand, we humans are fighting a battle in our workplace or normal life, trying to solve problems or create new solutions each and everyday. These are the battles which we have to fight with, but using intelligence and knowledge, not to prevent a battle from starting everyday, but to getting prepared to win a battle at the end of the day.

These are also the battles which gained us ever-flowing wisdom and knowledge to deal with new problems and finding better solutions. The priority of the every day's battle does not lies neither in winning or losing, but the learning process which will helps us grow in future battles which we might and will encounter on. Without getting any knowledge or wisdom through the learning process, you will find yourself getting more weary of ongoing battles which will eventually wear yourself out in modern fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Lunch With My Friend at Ichiban Sushi Hougang Mall

counter of Ichiban Sushi at Hougang MallI was wandering around with my friend after our classes at poly and decided to go for a late lunch at Ichiban Sushi. Maybe it is a weekday afternoon, there are not much customers in the restaurant and we are free to sit almost anywhere. The most economical course was the set meal which that was what we ordered as well. (Poly students are quite poor at that period of time). Given my past experience with Ichiban Sushi, the food plating was not that fantastic, neither the taste, but well I simply loved Japanese food, what can I do ?

I think they are marketing their food as "fulfilling" in quantity rather than quality. Huge portions has been served but I believed they could put in more efforts to make the food looks attractive. Well, we are talking about set lunch in a heartland Japanese restaurant, what else more can you expect ?

Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu

In Tokyo, this is arguably one of the best and most convenient hotel to be staying in. It is also affordable and smack right in the center of Shibuya. A string of food eateries and shopping malls line up on the first level of the hotel which is right on top of a shopping mall.

Granted, their rooms are not the biggest, but one cannot compete with the location.



They also have free internet access and if you don't have a laptop, you are able to rent one from them. At the lobby of the hotel is a bus port that has express buses going to the airport for 2000YEN. It is extremely convenient, given that you do not have to lug your luggage up and down the stairs through the busy and congested train stations.



Service is good as well, they have english speaking staff that will go to great lengths to help you. They will even help you organize the bus trip to the airport and more.

It is certainly a great hotel to stay in if you will be taking a trip to Tokyo.
